What to expect
A warm-up that takes its time, then travelling exercises, then a combination built over several weeks. Jazz, contemporary and modern in the same hour. Bare feet or jazz shoes, and no assumptions about what you can already do.
It ends on a stage
In December the season closes with a show. Real lighting, a real audience, your people in the seats.
Taking part is optional, but it's the bit our dancers still talk about years later. If you do want to be in it, there's a small participation fee, around €10, covering costumes, photos and video. Your teacher will tell you the exact amount well before you have to decide.

Caring • Grounded • Storyteller
My classes are all about the joy of dancing together. I create a supportive space where you can explore new challenges, refine your technique, and celebrate what your body can already do. Through inspiring music and meaningful choreography, we'll connect with movement, creativity, and storytelling. Expect to work hard, support one another, build confidence, and—most importantly—have fun.
Good to know
Which level is mine?
New to a style means beginners, whatever else you've danced. Your teacher will tell you after the first week.
If I stop partway?
Registration covers the full course. In exceptional circumstances we can give a credit towards another Tribes service.
Does the show cost extra?
A small fee for costumes, photos and video. We aim to keep it around €10, and it's announced in advance.
Is the show required?
No, it's encouraged but optional. Tell your teacher if you'd rather not.
If I miss a class?
Courses build week on week, so missed classes aren't refunded. Teachers may share a recording.
Can I switch courses?
Sometimes, depending on availability and timing. Email discover@yourtribes.nl as soon as you know.
How do I book a course?
On the website, at yourtribes.nl/courses. Your spot is then secured for the full course.
