This ballet course focuses on the key elements that make up a pirouette. It is for dancers with some previous experience (intermediate level and above) who want to develop more clarity and confidence in their turns.

Following a classical ballet structure, we will deepen our understanding of body mechanics, alignment, and placement. With a focus on pirouettes, we will work on key elements such as axis placement, preparation and landing, spotting, and the coordination of the upper and lower body. With technical exercises practiced throughout the class, we will gradually bring these elements together, aiming to develop greater control, consistency, and ease in pirouettes.
