Game Night – Level 10

Ten years of Tribes, played out over one weekend.

Tribes turns ten this year, and we're marking it with a full show weekend. Game Night, Level 10 is a playful, high-energy show inspired by games of every kind: board games, arcade cabinets, video games and fantasy worlds. We'll also be bringing back a handful of iconic Tribes choreographies from the past decade. Saturday 19 December is Kids & Teens, with shows at 14:00 and 17:00. Sunday 20 December is Adults, with shows at 16:00 and 19:00. Tickets go on sale in October through De Muze. Block the dates now, we want you there.

What it's actually like to participate?

The lights go down, the music starts, and fourteen weeks of Tuesday evenings turn into four minutes you'll remember for years. Backstage there's someone fixing your hair and someone else telling you you'll be fine. Then you're on, and the room is full of people who came to watch you.

Extra rehearsals?

No. You rehearse in your normal class. No extra evenings, no separate commitment.

Costumes and lighting?

Handled for you. A small fee of around €10 covers costumes, photos and video.

Do I have to?

No. Plenty of people take a course and never perform. Tell your teacher either way.

What if I'm nervous?

Almost everyone is. Most say afterwards that it was over in a minute and they'd do it again.

Ten years of shows

We've been putting dancers on stages since 2016. Different themes, different venues, the same thing happening every time: people who started the season unsure they belonged there, finishing it in the lights.
