What we're usually looking for
We're a home of movement rather than a yoga studio, so the range is wide: yoga, Pilates, strength, mobility and dance, across five studios in Leiden and Wassenaar.
Two things decide it more than anything on your CV.
The style. We only take on teachers for things we actually run, or things we've been meaning to add. Have a look at our forty movement styles before you write. If what you teach isn't there and isn't close to something that is, we're probably not the right fit.
The times. Our schedule is busiest early mornings, lunchtimes and evenings, and Saturday mornings for kids. If you're only free on weekday afternoons, there's rarely much we can offer.
Qualifications
It depends on the style, and on you. For some things a recognised qualification matters. For most, we care more about how you teach than what your certificate says. We'll ask you to teach a class. That tells us more in an hour than an application ever could.
How it works
Teachers at Tribes invoice as ZZP. You keep your own hours, and we agree the schedule together each season. Most of our teachers teach elsewhere too, and that's fine. We'd rather have someone excellent for two classes a week than someone available for ten.
Who you'll meet
First a conversation with Willemieke, to see whether there's a match. Then a trial class, or covering a few classes to start with, so you get to know the students and we both get a feel for it.
