Classical Ballet

This is an invite-only course for experienced dancers ready to refine their technique and deepen their artistry.

You will work on classical precision, control, and expression. From clean pliés to fluid port de bras, sharp footwork, and dynamic turns and jumps. The focus is on posture, alignment, and musicality, with advanced combinations and variations that push you further each week.

These groups ask for commitment, consistency, and a strong presence in class. In return, they offer real growth, performance opportunities, and a space to develop your voice as a dancer.

How to audition

Due to maternity leave, Willemieke is hosting auditions remotely. To apply, send the following to discover@yourtribes.nl by May 12th:

• A short motivation
• A short video clip of yourself dancing

Everyone can audition, regardless of previous attendance. This keeps the level, energy, and commitment aligned across the group.

Good to know

• Autumn break: October 17 to 25 included. If your teacher organises things differently, they'll let you know.
• End of season show: weekend of December 19 & 20, part of the Tribes 10-year celebration. Participation is optional.
• If you join the show, a small participation fee applies to cover costumes, professional photos and video, and organisational costs. We keep this as low as possible. Your teacher will communicate the amount in advance.
