Creation & Performance at the RMO
Theme: RITE OF PASSAGE
This intensive is about creating together. In the same way we’ve done in our summer dance intensives, Rosa and Willemieke guide you through a shared process. Partially learning you choreography, partially building a piece from the ground up together with you, where both of our voices, but also yours come together in a thrilling piece performed on August 20th at the RMO.
We move between technique and creation throughout the week, always starting with a technique class to get the body warm and ready and then using that directly in the process of making. We’ll work towards a final performance in a very special setting:

Schedule
Saturday August 15th & Sunday August 16th — 09:00–13:00
→ Technique class (Modern Contemporary based)
→ Creation time in which you learn choreography and are actively involved in the making as well.
Monday August 17th & Tuesday August 18th — 19:00–22:00
→ Warm up + technique class
→ creation time + finishing the piece
Wednesday August 19th — 19:00–21:00
→ Dress rehearsal & final details
Thursday August 20th — 19:30
→ Performance
