What to expect
Every Friday through the summer, a different teacher from a different chapter of Tribes returns to teach one of their iconic choreographies. Some are flying in from abroad. The pieces were chosen by you, so expect the ones people never stopped talking about.

What you'll take away
An hour of dancing something that mattered to people here, taught by the person who made it. If you were around for the original, you'll know. If you weren't, you'll find out why ten years of dancers still bring it up.

I teach because movement is my second language, the way I express myself best and I hope to give my students the same feeling of freedom. My motto is: ‘Ik heb het nog nooit gedaan dus ik denk dat ik het wel kan’ – Pippi Langkous & ‘Don’t be a dick’

True movement can't be separated from the moment it's made, and everything the dancer feels in it. Without embodiment, movement becomes mechanical, an empty shell. I love observing the differences between people and bringing a body to the point where it clicks and moves freely.
