What it's like
Two distinct halves. The first is a flowing vinyasa sequence, moderate pace, breath-led, enough to build warmth. The second slows right down into yin: floor-based shapes held for several minutes, well supported, working into connective tissue rather than muscle. The shift between them is deliberate and quite noticeable. Expect to arrive at the second half already softened.

Why people practice this?
It solves a real problem: most people need both, and most schedules make you choose. This is the class that doesn't.
The order does something specific. Moving first warms the tissue, which makes the long holds afterwards more productive and considerably more comfortable than a cold yin class.
And the contrast is instructive. Feeling your body in motion and then completely still, within the same hour, teaches you more about your own patterns than either half would alone.
Is this for you?
You'll get on with YinYang Flow if you:
• Want to move and to rest without booking twice
• Find pure yin too static and pure flow too relentless
• Are building a balanced weekly practice
• Have one class a week and want it to cover everything
All levels. The flowing half is moderate and the yin half is entirely at your own pace.

Questions people ask
Do I need to meditate already?
No. You're guided throughout, and a wandering mind is completely normal.
Can I come injured?
Often yes, but tell your teacher first so they can adjust.
Do I need to be flexible?
No. Every pose is adjusted with props. Flexibility is an outcome, not a requirement.
Do I need experience?
No. Most classes are open to all levels and teachers give options.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move in. Classes are barefoot, and props are provided.
Do I need a mat?
No. Mats and props are provided. Bring your own if you prefer.
How do I book?
Website or the Fit by Wix app, code NCL5XG. You'll need a pass or card first.
