What it's like

Fast-paced and continuous, rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa but drawing freely from other styles. Sequences are set enough to learn but varied enough not to bore.

Inversions, arm balances and transitions appear regularly, always with options. You'll be invited to try things before you can do them, which is the method rather than an accident.

Expect heat, expect a strong hour, and expect a room that laughs when someone falls out of a handstand.

Why people practice this?

Rocket gets you there faster. That's where the name comes from. It takes Ashtanga's structure and rearranges it so advanced poses arrive earlier and more often. Strength, flexibility and endurance all build quickly because the practice is demanding and repeated. People who come weekly tend to see change within a couple of months. The playfulness is the other half. Rocket actively encourages trying things you'll fall out of, which makes it one of the few strong classes where falling over is part of the fun.

Is this for you?

You'll get on with Rocket Flow if you:
• Have a regular practice and want more intensity
• Like structure but not rigidity
• Are curious about arm balances and inversions
• Want to be challenged without being solemn about it Newer to yoga? Build a base in Vinyasa Flow first, Rocket assumes you know the vocabulary.

Questions people ask

What does 'some experience' mean?

You know the basics and can follow a sequence without every cue explained. Not advanced, just not brand new.

Do I need to be fit?

No. You build the strength by doing the class. Teachers give lighter and heavier options throughout.

Can I come injured?

Often yes, but tell your teacher first so they can adjust.

Do I need to be flexible?

No. Every pose is adjusted with props. Flexibility is an outcome, not a requirement.

What should I wear?

Anything you can move in. Classes are barefoot, and props are provided.

Do I need a mat?

No. Mats and props are provided. Bring your own if you prefer.

How do I book?

Website or the Fit by Wix app, code NCL5XG. You'll need a pass or card first.
