What it's like

Faster than a standard vinyasa, with breath control doing the pacing. You'll move through a structured sequence drawn from modern power yoga, varied slightly each time by the teacher.

Expect to sweat, expect to hold things longer than feels comfortable, and expect chaturanga to come round more often than you'd like.

Options are always given. Taking the gentler version of a pose is normal and nobody is watching.

Why people practice this?

Strength and endurance are the honest draw. Power Flow moves quickly enough and holds long enough that it builds real capacity, particularly through shoulders, core and legs. The repeating structure matters more than people expect. Because the sequence stays broadly the same, you can measure yourself against last month rather than guessing, progress is visible. There's a mental effect too. A demanding hour where you have to keep up leaves most people sharper and more settled than a gentle one would.

Is this for you?

You'll get on with Power Flow if you:
• Want yoga that doubles as a workout
• Get restless in slower classes
• Like a familiar sequence you can measure progress against
• Train elsewhere and want something that complements it

Newer to yoga? Do a few Vinyasa or Mild Flow classes first. Not because you can't cope, but because the pace here assumes you already know the shapes.

Questions people ask

What does 'some experience' mean?

You know the basics and can follow a sequence without every cue explained. Not advanced, just not brand new.

Do I need to be fit?

No. You build the strength by doing the class. Teachers give lighter and heavier options throughout.

Can I come injured?

Often yes, but tell your teacher first so they can adjust.

Do I need to be flexible?

No. Every pose is adjusted with props. Flexibility is an outcome, not a requirement.

What should I wear?

Anything you can move in. Classes are barefoot, and props are provided.

Do I need a mat?

No. Mats and props are provided. Bring your own if you prefer.

How do I book?

Website or the Fit by Wix app, code NCL5XG. You'll need a pass or card first.
