What it's like

An invigorating flow with a clear emphasis on twists, side bends and compressive shapes. The pace is lively without being punishing. You'll spend a lot of time rotating, seated twists, revolved lunges, anything that wrings the torso out, with breath used deliberately to deepen each one. Expect warmth, expect to work, and expect the last twenty minutes to feel easier than the first.

Why people practice this?

Circulation is the mechanism. Twisting and compressing sequences move blood and lymph through areas that sitting all day leaves stagnant, and the immediate effect is a noticeable lift. Digestion is the other commonly reported benefit, sustained rotational work through the abdomen tends to help things along. Mostly, though, people come for how it feels afterwards. Whatever the physiology, an hour of twisting leaves most of us feeling like the windows have been opened.

Is this for you?

You'll get on with Detox Flow if you:
• Sit for a living and feel compressed by Friday
• Want something energising rather than calming
• Like twists, or suspect you need them
• Are looking for a reset after a heavy week or a holiday

All levels welcome. Twists are easy to scale and the teacher will show you how.
