Core Concept Training

What it's like

High energy and functional. You'll move through exercises targeting deep core stability, then into dynamic work for power and agility, with balance, mobility and endurance threaded throughout.

This is not a sequence of crunches. Expect full-body movements where the core is the engine rather than the isolated target.

The pace is brisk and the hour goes quickly. Scaling is always offered.

Tribes Leiden Core Training

Why people practice this?

Efficiency of movement is the real outcome. A core that transfers force properly makes everything else, running, lifting, dancing, carrying shopping, cost less energy. Power and agility get trained directly here, not as a side effect. Dynamic work builds the ability to produce force quickly, which most core classes skip entirely. And it's the deep stabilising muscles that get the attention, the ones responsible for keeping you injury-free rather than the ones visible in a mirror.

Is this for you?

You'll get on with Core Training if you:
• Play a sport or dance and want to perform better
• Want strength that transfers outside the studio
• Prefer working hard to working slowly
• Have done core work that never seemed to help

All levels. Everything scales, and the deep-core work is as demanding for an athlete as for a beginner.

Questions people ask

Do I need to be fit?

No. You build the strength by doing the class. Teachers give lighter and heavier options throughout.

Is it like the gym?

No. Slower and more precise, focused on control rather than reps. Harder than it looks.

Will it help my back?

Often yes, since much of the work supports the spine. It isn't treatment though, so check with a professional if you're in pain.

Can I come injured?

Often yes, but tell your teacher first so they can adjust.

Do I need experience?

No. Most classes are open to all levels and teachers give options.

What should I wear?

Anything you can move in. Classes are barefoot, and props are provided.

Do I need a mat?

No. Mats and props are provided. Bring your own if you prefer.

How do I book?

Website or the Fit by Wix app, code NCL5XG. You'll need a pass or card first.
